China's production of ten nonferrous metals reached 6.5 million tonnes in November 2023, up by 7.1% from a year ago, and the total production in the first eleven months increased by 7.2% year on year to 67.96 million tonnes, according to data released by the National Bureau of Statistics.
In November, China produced 3.54 million tonnes of primary aluminum, up by 4.8% YoY. Production of the metal from January to November totaled 38 million tonnes, up by 3.9% from the year ago period.
