Risen Energy phase one silicon metal project passes EIA technology assessment

The environmental impact assessment (EIA) for the phase one of Risen Energy's 200ktpa silicon metal project has passed technology assessment and the revised EIA report will be submitted to the Department of Ecology and Environment of Inner Mongolia for final approval.
The project, developed by Risen Energy (Baotou) Silicon Co., Ltd, will be located at Jinshan Industrial Park in Guyang, Baotou, Inner Mongolia, with a total investment of RMB3 billion (USD418 million). It consists of two phases and each phase has an annual production capacity of 100,000t of silicon metal.
