On November 28, Tongwei Green Materials (Guangyuan) Co., Ltd. held the groundbreaking ceremony for the phase one 200,000tpa industrial silicon project at Cangxi Economic Development Zone in Guangyuan, Sichuan.
The company plans to build an industrial silicon project with capacity of 400,000tpa in two phases, and each phase will add 14 33000kVA electric furnaces for annual production of 200,000t.
