PTL acquires 80% stake in Jiangsu Bohua

Shanghai Putailai New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (PTL) has entered into an investment agreement with Jiangsu Bohua Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. (Jiangsu Bohua) and shareholders of Jiangsu Bohua to acquire, through its wholly-owned subsidiary Jiangsu Zhuoli, 26.68% equity interest in Jiangsu Bohua, along with a capital increase of RMB292 million (USD40.87 million) to the target company. Upon completion, Jiangsu Zhuoli will hold a 80% stake in Jiangsu Bohua.
Jiangsu Bohua is engaged in the R&D, production and sales of high performance battery foils, including ultra-thin copper foils used for NEV lithium battery and storage battery.
Acquiring a controlling stake in Jiangsu Bohua allows PTL to boost construction of battery copper foil production capacity and provide synergy with its composite copper foil business.
