JISCO's forged flange project begins production

On November 2, Jiuquan Tiancheng, a subsidiary of Gansu Western Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. of JISCO, completed trial run of its forged flange project at full capacity, marking the start of production at the first forged flange project in Gansu, China.
With an annual production capacity of 10,000t of forged flange used for wind turbine generator, the project is expected to effectively ease the strain on the supply of flange in Northwest China. The project produces large ring forgings and forged flange, which will be supplied to Gansu Western Heavy Industry for the manufacture of tower barrel. The project makes JISCO the only company in Northwest China that produces both forged flange and tower barrel for wind turbine generator.
The project kicked off construction in July 2022 and completed equipment installation in July 2023, before entering the commissioning phase on September 5.
