Eastern Steel's phase two project in Malaysia put into operation

On November 8, Eastern Steel Sdn. Bhd. began production at its phase two project in Malaysia. Invested by Beijing Jianlong Heavy Industry Group, Eastern Steel has now become a modern steel company with production capacity of 2.7 million tonnes per annum.
Malaysia now has a complete steel industrial chain with Eastern Steel's phase two project put into operation as it fills in the blanks of steel products used for construction, home appliance, automobile and other industries in the country. Apart from being sold locally in Malaysia, more than 80% of these steel products will be exported to Japan, South Korea, Europe, America and Africa.
