Guiyang Dawei obtains exploration right of Dachongli kaolin deposit

Guiyang Dawei Mining Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Dawei Technology, has won the auction for the exploration right of Dachongli kaolin deposit in Guiyang, Hunan for RMB37.6 million (USD5.14 million).
Dachongli kaolin deposit mainly consists of altered granite-type kaolin (associated lithium ore) lode and greisen-type tin-lithium lode, with average grades at 13.40% Al2O3, 0.22% Li2O,1.34% Fe2O3 and 0.14% Rb2O, according to a report by the Geological Survey Institute of Hunan Province.
The company said that obtaining the exploration right of Dachongli kaolin deposit is an important step in developing Dawei's lithium battery materials project in Chenzhou, Hunan and will be the cornerstone of Dawei's new energy industrial chain.
