Beifang Glass inks agreement to sell tin ingot to Triumph Mineral Resources

On October 27, Qinhuangdao Beifang Glass Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Triumph New Energy Company Limited, reached a deal to sell 113.047 tonnes of tin ingot at RMB209,500/t (USD28,631/t) to CNBM Triumph Mineral Resources Group Co., Ltd., for a total consideration of approximately RMB23.68 million (USD3.24 million).
The target asset is tin ingot out of molten tin cooled down from the company's float glass production line, which suspended operation as the furnace reached the end of its service life. Beifang Glass plans to sell its inventory of tin ingot to revitalize idle assets since the company no longer uses the metal in its photovoltaic glass project currently under construction.
