Sichuan Shanshan begins phase one production at 200ktpa anode material project

On October 17, Sichuan Shanshan New Material Co., Ltd. put all twelves smart production lines into operation at the phase one factory of its 200,000tpa lithium battery anode material project located in Pengshan, Sichuan. The first phase produces 240t per day of materials for further processing.
As the first 10-billion-yuan industrial project in Pengshan, it kicked off construction in January 2022 and commenced production in August 2023. The second phase of the project has also begun construction. When fully operational, the project would produce 200,000tpa of anode material used for lithium battery and is expected to achieve annual production value of RMB10 billion (USD1.37 billion).
