    1 Market Highlights

Although the Myanmar government allows the dressing plants to continue to operate, the market saw tight supply as most smelters increased operation rates during the past month. Therefore, the prices of tin concentrate increased slightly this month.

In September, the market demand recovered gradually, especially at the end of this month as most downstream clients replenished before National Day. So, the prices of tin ingot increased slightly this month.

The prices of tin solder moved up because of increasing prices of raw materials. Consumer electronics industry demand picked up, but sustained growth in consumer demand lacks momentum.
