On September 19, Inner Mongolia Tongwei Green Materials Co., Ltd. broke ground on the 120,000tpa industrial silicon project, the phase one of its 360,000tpa green silicon metal project. The first phase took only three months to start construction after the signing ceremony and is expected to become fully operational in 2024.
