Defu Technology to invest in 50ktpa high-end copper foil project

Jiujiang Defu Technology Co., Ltd. announced that it plans to use proceeds from oversubscribed share offering to invest in the 50,000tpa high-end copper foil project developed by its wholly-owned subsidiary Jiujiang Amber New Material Co., Ltd.
With a construction period of 32 months, the project will build production capacity of 50,000tpa of high performance copper foil used for lithium battery and electronic circuit. The total investment for the project is around RMB2.5 billion (USD343 million), including oversubscription proceeds of RMB564 million (USD77.36 million) from Defu Technology, with the rest covered by self-raised funds.
