CISA: Major steel mills' average daily steel product output records 2.16Mt in mid-Aug

Major Chinese steel mills reported steel product output of 21.55 million tonnes during the second ten-day period of August when the daily output was around 2.16 million tonnes, up by 5.44% from the first ten-day period of the month, according to China Iron & Steel Association (CISA).
During mid August, major Chinese steel mills held steel product inventory of around 16.63 million tonnes, an increase of 578,500 tonnes or 3.60% from early August.
