Wuwei Rongfeng expects 120ktpa industrial silicon project to begin production in Oct

Main frame construction of the first workshop of the 120,000tpa industrial silicon project developed by Wuwei Rongfeng Silicon Industry Co., Ltd. in Liangzhou district has completed with equipment installation currently underway.
With total investment estimated at RMB1.25 billion (USD173 million), the project broke ground in October 2022 and is expected to begin production in October 2023. The second workshop of the project is scheduled to finish civil works late this year before commencing production by the end of 2024. When becoming fully operational, the project is expected to achieve annual sales revenue of RMB2 billion (USD277 million) and create 1,500 jobs.
