Xinfa Group to develop 150ktpa anhydrous aluminum fluoride project

With investment of RMB2.2 billion (USD305 million), the project is expected to break ground in October 2023 and commence production in August 2024.
The project will have a total annual production capacity of 300,000t of ultra-pure anhydrous aluminum fluoride, 300,000t of ultra-pure anhydrous hydrogen fluoride, 100,000t of electronic grade hydrofluoric acid, 30,000t of LiPF6 and other fluorine chemical products.
The project consists of three phases, including phase one with two 60,000tpa ultra-pure anhydrous hydrogen fluoride production lines and three 50,000tpa ultra-pure anhydrous aluminum fluoride production lines. The second phase of the project is scheduled to produce 150,000tpa of ultra-pure anhydrous aluminum fluoride and 180,000tpa of ultra-pure anhydrous hydrogen fluoride.
