Tianshan Aluminum puts 20ktpa battery foil project into operation

The 20,000tpa battery foil technical upgrade project invested by Tianshan Aluminum in Jiangyin recently went into operation as scheduled. With construction starting since last August, the project upgraded three rolling machines of the aluminum foil production line originally owned by Jiangyin Xinren Aluminium Technology Co., Ltd.
The technical upgrade project paves the way for the company's newly-planned 200,000tpa project. So far, the new project has eight rolling machines being installed, with three ready for hot commissioning. The new project is expected to complete the installation of 16 rolling machines by the end of this year.
