East Hope's Beihai aluminum industry circular economy project breaks ground

On July, East Hope Group broke ground on the aluminum industry circular economy project at Tieshan East Port Industry Park in Beihai. With total investment estimated at RMB16.5 billion (USD2.3 billion), the project would achieve production value of nearly RMB70 billion (USD9.77 billion) and generate tax revenue of RMB1.26 billion (USD176 million) annually, and it is expected to create more than 10,000 jobs.
Upon completion of the 4.8-million-tonne-per-annum alumina (phase one) project broke ground by East Hope and the Beihai green aluminum (phase one) project developed by Guangxi Investment Group Co., Ltd., Beihai expects to produce 4 million tonnes of alumina annually with production value reaching RMB70 billion (USD9.77 billion).
