Guocheng Lithium to build phase one of 200ktpa lithium salts project

Sichuan Guocheng Lithium Industry Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Guocheng Mining, plans to invest RMB3.36 billion (USD464 million) to build the phase one of 200,000tpa lithium salts project in Deyang-Aba Eco-economy Industrial Park.
This three-phase project will add capacity of 60,000tpa of lithium salts in the first phase with planned land area of 400Mu (26.67 hectares). The phase one construction mainly includes warehouse and roasting and acidizing facilities for lithium concentrate, production equipment for lithium sulfate, lithium carbonate and lithium hydroxide, as well as other associated facilities.
