Trial production of high-quality automotive steel technical upgrade project has begun at the cold-drawing workshop of Shilin company, a subsidiary of Fushun Special Steel. With total investment of RMB13.2 million (USD1.84 million), the project has a designed annual production capacity of 12,000t, with construction commencing on April 14 and equipment installation beginning on May 10.
The project, when completed, is expected to significantly increase Fushun Special Steel's high-quality automotive steel output and become a new growth engine for the company.
