On June 18, the wide and thick plate project of HNIS Group Zhoukou Base formally started construction. After the completion of Zhoukou Base, it will become a production base of ten-million-ton-level automobile steel, wide and thick plate and new electromagnetic materials.
The construction period of the second phase of the project starting this time is 16 months, and it will be put into trial production successively from October 2024. In particular, the annually designed output of the wide and thick plate production line reached 2.6 million tons, which can meet the demand for high-end plate steel for marine engineering, shipbuilding, new energy, and construction machinery.
