According to data released by the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS), China's production of ten nonferrous metals totaled 6.15 million tons in May 2023, up by 5.1% YoY. From January to May, the production of ten nonferrous metals totaled 30.24 million tons, up by 7.4% YoY.
In detail, the output of primary aluminum in May was 3.42 million tons, up by 1.1% YoY, and that in the first five months of this year totaled 16.71 million tons, up by 3.4% YoY.
