Binxin Steel to build blast furnace of 1080 cubic meters

In accordance with relevant guidelines and implementation measures issued by the State Council, the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Jiangsu Province made public the capacity replacement scheme for a green low-carbon blast furnace project of Jiangsu Binxin Steel Group from May 12 to June 8, 2023 with no objection during the publicity period.
Based on the scheme, Binxin Steel will demolish two blast furnaces of 1,080 cubic meters with a total production capacity of 2,500,000tpy and replace them with another one of 1,250 cubic meters with the production capacity of 1,150,000tpy in 2023. The new blast furnace will go into operation in 2023.
