Fengyuan Chemical to invest in 50,000tpy LFP project

Fengyuan Chemical's fully owned subsidiary Fengyuan Lithium Energy plans to sign an investment agreement with government of Gejiu, Yunnan on building a 50,000tpy Li-battery high-performance cathode material project in the Chongposhao New Material Industrial Park located in Gejiu city. Total investment for the project is estimated to be around RMB1.25 billion (USD176 million).
With a construction cycle of 18 months, the project will cover a land area of 260 Mu (17.33 hectares) and will mainly produce high-performance LFP.
