Dawei Technology to build 40,000tpy lithium carbonate smelting project

Guiyang Dawei New Material Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Dawei Technology, signed a contract recently to build a 40,000tpy lithium carbonate smelting project in the Nonferrous Technology Industrial Park in Guiyang, Chenzhou, Hunan. With a total investment of about RMB2.5 billion (USD350.62 million), the project will be built in two phases. Its construction investment scale should be RMB2 million (USD280,500) per mu (about 667 square meters) and the taxes created by it should reach RMB300,000 (USD42,074) per mu.
