Yunhai Special Metals announced that its joint venture Anhui Baomei Light Alloy Co., Ltd. ("Anhui Baomei") recently was granted the mining permit by the Natural Resources and Planning Bureau of Chizhou City for mining 40 million tons per year of metallurgy-purpose and flux-purpose dolomite ores from the Qingyang-located Huayuan Wujia dolomite mine.
In order to ensure stable raw material supply to itss 300,000tpy higher-performance Mg-base light alloy project, Anhui Baomei succeeded in winning the mining right of the Qingyang dolomite ores with consideration of RMB4,227 million (USD598 million) on December 24, 2021.
