Bangjie Share to develop PV cell & large silicon wafer slicing project with RMB8 billion

Bangjie Share announced on May 22 that the company and its subsidiary Bangjie New Energy signed an investment agreement with the Administrative Committee of Jiangshan Economic Development Zone for a 16-gigawatt (8GW+8GW) N-type high efficiency cell and 16-gigawatt large photovoltaic silicon wafer slicing project. The total investment is planned to be RMB8 billion (USD1.14 billion).
Bangjie Share will jointly establish a joint venture named Jiangshan Bangjie New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. in Jiangshan, with the designated entity of the Administrative Committee of Jiangshan Economic Development Zone, to push forward the project. The registered capital is RMB1.62 billion (USD229.86 million), of which 50.6173% will come from Bangjie Share's investment of RMB820 million (USD116.35 million) in cash.

The registered capital is RMB1.62 billion (USD229.86 million), of which 50.6173% will come from Bangjie Share's investment of RMB820 million (USD116.35 million) in cash.
