Baosteel Huangshi Coated Plate Project goes fully into operation

On May 18, Baosteel Huangshi Coated Plate Project was fully put into operation and the signing event for the commercial investment project was held in the 403 hot-dip galvanizing plant, marking that Baosteel Huangshi Coated Plate Co., Ltd. has completed the task of "withdrawing from the downtown and entering the park" and stepped a new stage of green, low-carbon and high-quality development.
The first phase of Baosteel Huangshi New Port (Logistics) Industrial Park project with an investment of RMB326 million (USD46.33 million), was put into operation in 2018 and achieved full production and efficiency in 2019; the second phase of the project had an investment of RMB815 million (USD116 million), and relevant projects completed thermal load testing in sequence on February 28, 2023, successfully achieving the goal of "withdrawing from the downtown and entering the park". At present, Huangshi Coated Plate Co., Ltd. has seven production lines in New Port Industrial Park, with product varieties including acid pickling, rolling hardening, hot dip galvanizing, aluminum-zinc plating, zinc-aluminum-magnesium, and color coating. The production capacity of commercial materials has reached 500,000 tons.
