NBS: China's copper cathode production up by 12.9% in Jan-Apr

China produced about 1.06 million tonnes of refined copper (copper cathode) in April 2023, up by 14.1% from last April, and the output from January to April totaled 4.11 million tonnes, rising by 12.9% from the year-ago period, according to the latest data provided by the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS).
In the first four months, China produced 6.87 million tonnes of copper products, up by 6.9% YoY, including about 1.90 million tonnes in April, up by 12.4% YoY.
