NBS: China's crude steel production up by 4.1% YoY in Jan-Apr

According to the latest data released by the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS), in April 2023 China's crude steel production totaled 92.64 million tons, down by 1.5% YoY; pig iron production recorded 77.84 million tons, up by 1.0% YoY; and production of steel products totaled 119.95 million tons, up by 5.0% year on year.
From January to April, China's crude steel production totaled 354.39 million tons, up by 4.1% year on year; pig iron production recorded 297.63 million tons, up by 5.8% YoY; and production of steel products totaled 446.36 million tons, up by 5.2% YoY.
