China Power Battery Alliance: China's power battery production up by 38.7% YOY in Apr

Data from China Automobile Power Battery Industrial Innovate Alliance show that in April 2023 China's power battery production was 47.0GWh, up by 38.7% year on year and down by 8.3% month on month; and in the first four months of this year, China produced a total of 176.9GWh of power battery, up by 28.7% YoY.
In April, China's installed power battery capacity was 25.1GWh, up by 89.4% YoY and down by 9.5% MoM; and exports by power battery companies recorded 8.8GWh.
