GACC: China's iron ore imports up by 8.6% YOY in Jan-Apr

According to latest data released by General Administration of Customs of China (GACC), China totally imported 380 million tons of iron ore and concentrate (hereinafter referred to as iron ore) in the first four months of 2023, up by 8.6% YOY; the import amount was USD43.76 billion, down by 4.0% YOY.
In April, China's iron ore imports stood at 90.442 million tons, down by 9.8% MOM but up by 5.1% YOY; the import amount was USD10.9 billion, down by 7.6% MOM and 5.8% YOY.
