Changhong New Energy Technology to build Li-polymer battery project in Hunan

The government of Huarong County, Hunan Province signed an agreement with Sichuan Changhong New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. on May 8th to cooperate on building a high-quality small Li-polymer battery R&D and intelligent manufacturing base project.
According to the agreement, the project is planned to have a total investment of RMB500 million (USD72.20 million) and will be built in two phases. The project will create annual output values of RMB1 billion (USD144.41 million) after going into operation and contribute taxes of RMB20 million (USD2.89 million) per year. It will expropriate a land of about 133,333 square meters in phase two to build Changhong Lithium Battery Industrial Park.
