According to an announcement recently released by Guangxi Development and Reform Commission, as of March 31, 2023, Guangxi had a total of 17 coal mines in accordance with the law, with an annual production capacity of 6.94 million tons.
Among them, 14 are operating coal mines, with a registered annual production capacity of 6.28 million tons; 3 are coal mines under construction, with an annual production capacity of 660,000t.
Based on the announcement, there is only one coal mine with an annual production capacity of over one million tons, nine with an annual production capacity of 450,000t or more, and seven with an annual production capacity of 150,000t or less.
