Most magnesite suppliers increased their prices slightly this month due to tight supply caused by expiring mine licences.
Most caustic calcined magnesia 90%min 200 mesh producers lower their prices slightly this month given weak demand. However, most caustic calcined magnesia 85%min 200 mesh producers held their prices unchanged due to short supply in the market; most exporters of caustic calcined magnesia 90%min 200 mesh decreased their prices following with falling domestic prices.
Most producers of dead burned magnesia producers still kept their prices unchanged this month supported by thin profits, many of them prefer to suspend production rather than lower their prices further; the export prices of Chinese dead burned magnesia kept flat due to stable domestic prices; given the steady prices of domestic prices and ocean freight, the international prices of dead burned magnesia remained firmed as well.
