By the end of the first quarter of 2023, China has built more than 2.64 million 5G stations, resulting in 110 gigabit cities developed in the country and over one hundred million users using the gigabit internet, according to the data from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China (MIIT). For now, 5G internet has prevailed in many fields, such as industry, medical treatment, transport, education and tourism, in China.
