European LC ferrochrome prices flat

BEIJING (Asian Metal) 21 Apr 23 – Most suppliers keep their prices unchanged from early this week due to the unchanged demand. Currently, the mainstream prices for LC ferrochrome Cr60%min C0.1%max stand at USD2.60-2.65/Ib Cr in warehouse Rotterdam T/T 30 days, in line with early this week. Insiders predict the mainstream prices would keep flat in the coming three days as most suppliers have no plan to change their prices.
A trader from South Europe mentioned, "We quote USD2.65/Ib Cr for LC ferrochrome Cr60%min C0.1%max and could accept the price as low as USD2.60/Ib Cr at present, unchanged from early this week". They received an inquiry today, but they refused to sell because the customer wanted to purchase at USD2.50/Ib Cr this week. They last sold around 50t at USD2.60/Ib Cr late last week. They have no plan to change their price and predict the mainstream prices would keep unchanged in the coming three days.
The trader, based on regular monthly trading volume of around 100t of LC ferrochrome Cr60%min C0.1%max, predicts to sell around 100t in April, unchanged from March. They have no stock at present.
