Qinzhou Nanhai Chemical stopped the production of manganese sulfate

BEIJING (Asian Metal) 20 Apr 23 – Qinzhou Nanhai Chemical, as a major Chinese producer of manganese sulfate 32%min, suspended their production of manganese sulfate 32%min in April and plans to produce nothing this month, a source from the company revealed to Asian Metal.
The source revealed, "Given that our clients stopped purchasing this month, we suspended our production of manganese sulfate 32%min this month as well". The producer holds a watchful attitude to the market and would adjust their production following the downstream demand.
The producer, based on the annual production capacity of 30,000t of manganese sulfate 32%min, produced around 3,000t in March, and they would produce nothing this month. Currently, they hold around 3,000t of stocks.
Given the market remains quiet at the moment, most suppliers of manganese sulfate 32%min in China stop quoting and have no intentions to change their prices. Currently, the mainstream prices of Chinese manganese sulfate 32%min stand at RMB6,200-6,400/t (USD901-930/t) EXW D/P, unchanged from late last week. Given the low inventory, insiders believe that the mainstream prices of Chinese manganese sulfate 32%min would stay firm despite the soft demand.
