BEIJING (Asian Metal) 19 Apr 23 - As one of the major titanium dioxide producers in Jiangsu Province, Xuzhou Titanium Dioxide Chemical Co. produced under full operating rate in April. The company expects to produce around 7,000t in April, up by 2,000t from March.
"Encouraged by strong demand from downstream consumers, we received more orders and resumed normal production this month," said a source from the company, adding that that the output would increase to 7,000t this month, up by around 2,000t from last month.
Xuzhou Titanium Dioxide Chemical Co. has an annual production capacity of 80,000t. The company produced nearly 71,100t in 2022 and almost 22,400t in 2023. They would produce around 7,000t in April, increasing by 2,000t from last month.
Current mainstream prices for rutile titanium dioxide 93%min in Jiangsu province increased to RMB15,900-16,400/t (USD2,314-2,387/t) D/A 180 days, up by RMB100/t (USD15/t) from early last week.
