According to the data released by China Iron & Steel Association (CISA), in the first ten-day period of April 2023 major Chinese steel mills produced around 21.79 million tonnes of steel products, with the daily output averaging about 2.18 million tonnes, down by 3.82% from the previous ten-day period.
In the first ten-day period of April 2023, steel product inventory held by major Chinese steel mills totaled about 18.32 million tonnes, up by about 1.07 million tonnes or 6.18% from the previous ten-day period.
