Huicheng New Materials reduced the production of manganese sulfate

BEIJING (Asian Metal) 14 Apr 23 – As the largest producer of manganese sulfate 32%min in China, Guizhou Dalong Huicheng New Materials Co. decreased their production since early April and expects to produce around 2,500t this month, a source from the company revealed to Asian Metal.
The source revealed, "Given that most of our clients decrease their purchase volume this month, we reduced our production since early this month and remain a wait-and-see attitude to the market". The producer plans to produce around 2,500t this month.
The producer, based on an annual production capacity of 114,000t of manganese sulfate 32%min, estimates to produce about 2,500t this month, down by 3,500t from the previous month. They have almost 6,000t of stocks at present.
Although the market witnessed few inquiries, most suppliers of manganese sulfate 32%min in China intend to firm prices given no inventory pressure. Therefore, the current prevailing prices of Chinese manganese sulfate 32%min stand at RMB6,200-6,400/t (USD901-930/t) EXW D/P, unchanged from early this week. Despite the weak demand, insiders believe that the mainstream prices of Chinese manganese sulfate 32%min would stay firm in the following days supported by no inventory pressure.
