Hebei Hengke's 150ktpy anode project to begin phase one production

The phase one of the 150,000tpy Li battery new-type anode material project developed by Hebei Hengke New Energy Materials Co., Ltd. will commence production in April, according to the Business and Investment Promotion Bureau of Fengnan District in Tangshan.
With a total investment of RMB1.5 billion (USD218 million), the project consists of two phases and the phase one is expected to become operational this April, while the second phase is scheduled to break ground this May before coming on stream in April 2024. When reaching full capacity, the project will produce 100,000t of anode material for Li battery and 50,000t of SiC anode material annually.
