Hangzhou Zhiyu's SmCo magnet output increases

BEIJING (Asian Metal) 12 Apr 23 - As one of the major SmCO magnet producers in Zhejiang, China, Hangzhou Zhiyu Magnetic Technology Co. produced around 10t of SmCo magnet in March 2023, an increase of around two tons MoM, according to a source from the company.
"As consumers purchased actively, our SmCo magnet output in March increased to about 10t, while we produced only around eight tons in February," said the source, who estimates to produce around five tons this month.
With an annual production capacity of 180t of SmCO magnet, Hangzhou Zhiyu Magnetic Technology Co. produced approximately 28t so far in 2023, compared with about 75t last year. It doesn't hold stock at present, unchanged MoM.
The current mainstream prices of SmCo magnet 30H in Zhejiang province slid to RMB250-260/kg (USD36.3-37.8/kg) EXW T/T 60 days, a decline of around RMB10/kg (USD1.5/kg) from one week ago.
