Luoning Zhongtianli to produce high purity indium production

BEIJING (Asian Metal) 12 Apr 23 - One of major Chinese high purity minor metals producers, Luoning Zhongtianli New Materials Co., Ltd. plans to start to produce indium ingot 99.9999%min in October, a source from the company disclosed to Asian Metal.
"We focus on producing a full range of high purity minor metals and are plan to to start the production of high purity indium ingot 99.9999%min in October with a designed production capacity of 5tp," the source said. At present, they have a production line with a production capacity of 50tpy of high purity arsenic metal 99.9999%min and a production capacity 50tpy of high purity gallium metal 99.9999%min. They produced around 30t of high purity arsenic metal 99.9999%min since early 2022. Their invested around RMB230 million total for the project.
The company would continue to build high purity phosphorus 99.9999%min with a design production capacity of 4tpy, and eventually realize the second and third generation of semiconductor compound materials epitaxial sheet production.
Currently, the mainstream prices of Chinese indium ingot 99.995%imn hover at RMB1,430-1,480/kg (USD208-215/kg) EXW D/P, in line with early last week. The market saw inactive deals and market participants believe that the prevailing prices of Chinese indium ingot 99.99%min would stay stable in the coming week.
