According to the 2022 annual report released by Chongqing Iron & Steel Group on March 30, its annual output of iron, steel and commercial billet recorded 7.230 million tons, 7.87 million tons and 8.34 million tons, respectively, with a year-on-year growth of 7.20%, 10.65% and 16.57% respectively. The output of steel and commercial billet reached the highest level in history.
In 2023, the company plans to achieve the production of 9.3 million tons of iron, 11 million tons of steel and 10.6 million tons of steel products.
