China announces 2023 first-batch rare earth mining and smelting/separation quotas

Recently, the Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) and Ministry of Natural Resources (MNR) jointly publicized 2023 first-batch national total quotas on rare earth mining and smelting/separation. The 2023 first-batch rare earth mining quota and smelting/separation quota is 120,000t and 115,000t respectively.
