Tianli Lithium Energy to invest RMB6 billion in building projects related to exploration, mining and dressing of lithium ores

Tianli Lithium Energy announced on March 12th that it signed a cooperation framework agreement with the government of Yecheng, Xinjiang to conduct cooperation in mining and dressing of lithium ores, processing of lithium salts and lithium battery materials and others. The company is planned to complete the investment tasks related to lithium ore exploration, mining and dressing as well as the production of lithium salts and lithium battery materials within three years after getting land, with a total investment of RMB6 billion (USD872.59 million). It will mainly build a 5,000,000tpy lithium ore mining & dressing project with a total investment of RMB1 billion (USD145.43 million), a 30,000tpy lithium salt production project with a total investment of RMB2.5 billion (USD363.58 million) and a 100,000tpy lithium battery material project with a total investment of RMB2.5 billion (USD363.58 million).
