European HC ferrochrome prices unchanged

BEIJING (Asian Metal) 10 Mar 23 – Most suppliers keep their prices unchanged from early this week. Currently, the mainstream prices for HC ferrochrome Cr65%min C8%max stand at USD2.50-2.55/Ib Cr in warehouse Rotterdam T/T 30 days at present, unchanged from early this week. Insiders predict the mainstream prices would keep unchanged within this week because most suppliers have no plan to change their prices.
A trader from North Europe mentioned, "We offer USD2.55/Ib Cr for HC ferrochrome Cr65%min C8%max with no concession at the moment, unchanged from early this week". They did not conclude any deal this week and last sold around 50t at USD2.55/Ib Cr late last week. They have no plan to adjust their price within this week and predict the mainstream prices would keep unchanged, but they hold positive attitudes and predict the mainstream prices would increase in the coming two weeks due to the better market demand.
The trader, based on a regular monthly trading volume of around 500t of HC ferrochrome Cr65%min C8%max, estimates to sell around 500t in March, in line with last month. They have around 1,000t of stocks at present.
A trader from South Europe disclosed, "We quote USD2.55/Ib Cr for HC ferrochrome Cr65%min C8%max and could accept the price as low as USD2.50/Ib Cr at the moment, unchanged from early this week".
