Zhanci New Material increases secondary aluminum alloy ingot production

BEIJING (Asian Metal) 8 Mar 23 - Ningbo Zhanci New Material Technology Co., Ltd., one major secondary aluminum alloy ingot producer in East China, increased output to around 2,500t in February.
"Our company halted production for the Spring Festival holiday since January 1 and resumed production on February 3. We had no output in January and produced about 2,500t in February", a source from the company said, and added that they expect the output to reach nearly 3,000t in March.
The company, with an annual production capacity of 84,000t, owns a furnace set composed of one 90-ton top furnace and two 40-ton bottom furnaces. They produced almost 38,200t in 2022 and hold about 800t in stock at present.
On Tuesday, the mainstream prices of aluminum alloy ingot ADC12 in East China hovered at RMB18,900-19,100/t (USD2,711-2,739/t) delivered D/P, stable from Monday. Given the sluggish demand at present, insiders believe that the prevailing prices of Chinese aluminum alloy ingot ADC12 would keep softly unchanged in the coming week.
