According to the data released by China Iron & Steel Association (CISA), major Chinese steel mills produced about 18.08 million tonnes of steel products in late February, and the average daily output recorded about 2.26 million tonnes, up by 10.01% from mid-February.
In late February, the steel product inventory held by major steel mills totaled 17.42 million tonnes, down by about 2.11 million tonnes or 10.80% from mid-February.
