Jiayuguan Dayou to resume ferrosilicon

BEIJING (Asian Metal) 6 Mar 23 - As one of major ferrosilicon producers in China, Jiayuguan Dayou Enterprise Group Co.Asian Metal Copyright In spite of inactive market, most producers held their prices unchanged for high raw material prices.Asian Metal Copyright, Ltd.Asian Metal Copyright .Asian Metal Copyright, would resume ferrosilicon 72%min production in mid of March and the output in March would reach to around 1,500t, disclosed a source from the company.

"We would resume one 33,000kVA to prodce ferrosilicon 72%min furnaces mid this month after maintenance and the output would reach nearly 1,500t in March", noted the source, adding that they suspended production since late last July due to low prices and inactive market. They would resume the operation of one 33,000kVA furnace and one 45,000kVA furnace from early April.

The producer, with an annual production capacity of 126,000t and three furnaces, don't hold any inventory currently.

In spite of inactive market, most producers held their prices unchanged for high raw material prices.
